Ours works great and also purchased the foot basin liners from HealthMed.
Costs pennies per liner and keeps the foot basin from getting stained.
No matter what the foot basin is made of, it will get stained by the ionic reaction.
Hence, use a liner and keep the basin clean.

The basin is good size, but not easy to clean. the basin stains after 5-10 uses – even when using a bleach solution – Other than that – it’s fine.
